Description
The CAN bus is a serial data bus with a transfer rate of up to 1,000,000 bits/s. It is a consistent network of different vehicle electronics. The pulses are no longer transferred with individual automotive wiring harness but with a joint "data highway".
In vehicles equipped with CAN busses is the installation of a conventional alarm system very time consuming and many functions can not be realized. Don't do without a necessary alarm system because of the complexity of the assembly. The Ampire CAN Bus Alarm system "reads" the CAN bus and is able to provide all the alarm-specific informations. This new technology gives you the following advantages:

One of the highest forms of protection in the field of vehicle safety is currently AMPIRE's LOC100-S that works on the basis of a GSM/GPS signal. The protection is provided by the communication between your vehicle and a mobile phone. The vehicle can be controlled wherever located and where a GSM network is available. The vehicle owner can always determine the location and speed of his vehicle. During the movement of the vehicle (theft or unwanted move) the owner of the vehicle is directly informed by an SMS message that is sent from the LOC100-S to the cell phone. The information about the location of the vehicle is specified in the SMS message in the form of geographic coordinates (geographical latitude and longitude).
