This fully updated DVD is the perfect partner if you\'re driving in Europe for either business or pleasure. Clear and rich maps of all significant roads, thousands of points of interest from golf courses to theatres, and from hotels to car parks – this latest edition NAVTEQ digital map is the perfect driving companion.
Traffic Message Channel (TMC) is an industry technology for delivering traffic and travel information to drivers. TMC Location Codes are attributes in the map which enable applications to use traffic information services.
Map Updates include new roads, junctions, by-passes and motorway exits and millions of other changes.
Each road segment features up to 260 attributes - such as the number of lanes or one way systems -
which also need to be updated along with the extensiv list of Point of Interest.
For example, in this new European update more than more than 42,000 roundabouts, 379,000 street
names, 25,000 one way streets and 68,000 turn restrictions have been added or amended.
Furthermore more than 860,000 kinometers of roads have been updated incl. approximately 1,220
sections of motorways.
