1972 was an eventful year with regard to the recording of phonograms. "Harvest" by Neil Young was released, "Transformers" by Lou Reed, Chick Corea's "Return To Forever", Becker and Fagen created "Can't Buy A Thrill", the Stones recorded "Exile On Mainstreet" and Miles Davis gave people "On The Corner". Another gift for fine ears from the year 1972: Esther Ofarim's "Esther".
The vinyl is still, not least because of its absolutely coherent sound picture, a reference LP for the assessment of the different equipment constellations.
It hardly can't get any better for recording technology!
