Sound and design
The product of over 30 years' experience in speaker engineering, the ETON AIR4 offers precise and intense sound playback from a dual-concentric loudspeaker at a high output of 80 watts. This guarantees clean and powerful bass sounds and mid tones through the use of a premium-quality carbon diaphragm, while soft dome tweeters deliver velvety smooth treble notes. Protected by unbreakable ABS plastic casing, the high-quality speaker is as much a treat for the eyes as it is for the ears. Striking design elements include the matt fine metal mesh grille, which is enclosed in a high-shine chrome surround, and the multifunctional control dial on the front of the unit. A more personal touch can be added by choosing a colour combination from mint/red, white/silver or black/silver. The exceptional compatibility of the speaker unit is clear to see when you turn it around at look at the back. In addition to the power switch and the power socket, there is a LAN Ethernet port, a USB port, a 3.5 mm AUX-in stereo jack for portable digital media playback devices and a 3.5 mm stereo jack for connecting a pair of headphones.
