This speaker is equipped with a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter designed for premium sound clarity and performance. Its coating provides reliable protection from the elements and UV rays, ensuring its longevity over time.

The innovative placement of the tweeter above the midrange cone creates a component sound and allows for a full cone midrange driver. The midrange driver itself is made of a robust, UV-protected material that maintains its performance even in direct sunlight.

The construction includes a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) surround for maximum cone control and excursion. Carefully treated against UV radiation and salt spray, this assembly guarantees long-lasting use, even in demanding conditions.

Additional linear control is provided with a moisture, fatigue and tear resistant aramid fiber spider. This is all driven by a motor magnet structure with IDHS, which improves power handling and ensures optimum performance.

In addition, this speaker features fully insulated flex connection wires, corrosion-resistant gold-plated speaker terminals and a fully sealed 12dB/octave crossover for precise audio output.

Rounding out the entire system is a durable 18-gauge stainless steel grille with Centrex plastic® and stainless steel hardware that protects the speaker from corrosion. The polarized input terminals are also corrosion resistant, ensuring true marine grade compliance.
