Install the update

Switch on the device via the ignition (ignition key in position 1)
Carefully insert the update CD into the device
The Download menu will be displayed after a short while
Turn the encoder to highlight the menu item "Start" and press to confirm
Please follow the instructions on the display to start the download
The download process takes approximately 40 minutes. The system will eject the update CD automatically afterwards*. Please remove the CD and the system will re-boot automatically.
Once the system has re-booted automatically, all settings will be chacked for approx. 30 seconds. This is followed be a basic calibration process completed with a new auto-reboot.
Afterwards it is essential to calibrate the device for use in the individual car model by means of a CAN EOL programming sequence.

Notes:

* If you do not remove the CD from the drive, the disk will be re-inserted and the Download-menu will be displayed again. In this case abort the download procedure and remove the CD.
** This you have to make in the workshop of you trust. We accept no Garanie or warranty.

There are no navigation data (streets) on the CD. We also offer the Navigation data of all countries / regions in Europe for the Navi CD500 / DVD800 / CHEVROLET Navigation Systems. Please contact our support [email protected].
